Tillie Fowler Regional Park finally has a new playground. More equipment should be added shortly. It is the perfect little spot for kids who love to climb. Near nature trails and picnic areas, you can go spend the morning exploring with your kiddos. Plus, bathrooms nearby make it easy for emergencies! Tillie Fowler is an expansive park across from the Naval base. There is also a hiking trail that is easy for elementary school kids. At the end you can climb an observation tour to look out over the park. Then a mountain biking trail for adults and an archery club are also options. Even though this is right in the middle of the city, you wouldn’t really know it. A great way to escape and find nature without a drive.
